That image I have in my head now of Alastair Campbell loading up the dishwasher whilst sexing up dossiers is slightly scary...

Iain: Great choice with Dizzy Thinks at number one.

The Grim Reaper: Gordon Brown's body lies a moulding in Number Ten. Right now the dodgy dossier is Charles Falconer's/Knee-jerk Straw's prisoners consultation process. It begs the question, given that they are both lawyers, and the government's best lawyers have been seriously taught a lesson, why have they not followed the law? Do they seriously expect the taxpayers to want to pay prisoners between £60 and 120M damages for loss of the franchise?

A government of all talents which excludes the greatest talent in prison law needs to go and lay down on the couch.

It seems Mr Harris doesn't read/watch the news, but then he's probably too wrapped up in the Beebs Gordo/Obama (praise him) lovefest.

The Guardian's Ethical Living Blog is presumably written by a Plane Stupid supporter in England. It had this yesterday about the demonstration at Aberdeen Airport which seems to try to suggest that the story about the airport being needed for a medical emergency might not be true.

"The police arrived and began negotiations, reportedly telling the protesters that the runway was needed for emergency medical treatment, including that of a small baby. The protesters, not wanting to put lives at risk, voluntarily unlocked themselves and went into police custody.

However, when someone from Plane Stupid made a call to the emergency unit of Aberdeen hospital, they were told by the press officer that the hospital did not know about any transfers this morning, and that they had their own helipad that they used for emergencies. Grampian police later confirmed that a flight had taken off to attend an ill baby."

The Scottish Ambulance Service have fixed wing aircraft which have difficulty landing on helipads. A medical team was sent by plane from Aberdeen to collect a baby at Inverness and then fly to Glasgow. They were delayed by the Plane Stupid demonstration.

The Beeb? I’ve been staggered to see Sky’s wonderfully important political editor Adam Boulton take up what looks like permanent residence in Washington DC. This when there’s been so much going on at home.

Now it looks like he’s there for Barack Obama first 100 days. What were Sky’s editors thinking about?

It certainly means the rest of their political team get on air much more often but really.

It would make more sense to call Ben Brogan a blogger if the Mail had any honest policy about Comments.
