Quotes of the Day

"Tony Blair was more of a tragic than a comic figure. Gordon Brown has more comic potential because he's perceived as being so serious" - comedian and impressionist Rory Bremner.
"I actually think Gordon Brown will go mad. He will be the first Prime Minister to be carried out of Number 10 by the men in white coats" - Unnamed Downing Street adviser.
"Across Britain, much of what passes for education is no more than a giant computer game, designed to amuse and divert children through the hours they pass in class" - Sir Max Hastings, former Fleet Street editor.
"Guys, stop now! Believe me, I am completely rubbish in relationships. You really wouldn't want to know" - Blonde Tory MP Nadine Dorries fending off would-be suitors on her blog.
"I have a religious duty to knock you down" - Ringleader of a group of men who allegedly attacked Respect MP George Galloway, a Celtic supporter, at Glasgow Airport.
"I will fight against the division politics of revenge and retribution. If you put me to work for you, I will work to lift people up, not put them down" - US Senator Hillary Clinton.

Is Nadine single then ? She is really attractive and I thought there was a bit of a roguish glint in her eye.I `m taken ...I hope she won`t be upset

Nadine, who said anything about something as long as a relationship?

Gordon Brown is already mad, so why go through this charade?

"Blonde Tory MP Nadine Dorries fending off would-be suitors on her blog."

Surely 'Playing hard to get' ?

No comment on mad Nad. Encouraging mucky stalkers is not the greatest idea in the book.

But that unattributed Brown quote is (a) very silly and (b) very cowardly.

An unattributed quote should not figure. Looks like a Bernard Ingham to me ...

GB is going to be a great Prime Minister - just as revealled in your dream. It all went a bit wrong after that bit though didn't it?

Hmm..blokes have lost interest in Nadine.. Scary Mary Portas is on the prowl.. Grrr...Easy tiger..

If you're not religious please feel free to say to George Galloway," I have a moral duty to knock you down ".

I actually think Gordon Brown will go mad.

That was a fun hatchet job the Mzzes Sylvester and Thomson did in the DT. Other great quotes "Gordon's idea of a debate is looking in the mirror", and the one that scared me, "He will shout and scream - but after a few days he calms down" from one of his alleged closest friends.

Hope the nuclear button's got a three day time-delay option.

Wow, Nadine...

Think I'd rather hitch up with onr of her local gypsies.

I'd stick to your signed photo of Diane mate. Each to his own.

Galloway telling porkies again?

Has there ever been a less attractive figure than Gordon Brown. Boring, joyless rude arrogant secretive and and vicious he is on the wrong side of the iron curtain and the wrong side of the cold war.
A terrifying animated corpse intent on spreading his misery. People fear him , they sense the edges of insanity , dogs whine as he passes , children leap to their mothers arms .

God save us all, I fear for the Princes ...

a terrifying animated corpse

Like Brezhnev (sp?). For several years after he died he was animated from the Kremlin. They could make his eyebrows go up and down by remote control. Someone's doing the same now with Brown's jaw.

dogs "sense the edges of insanity" ... great line, Newmania.

I thought Blair would go mad in office. That was before I realised he had always been one of those insane people who can act almost normal. From reports,it sounds as though he was not overly-anchored even at Fettes.

I don't want to witness Brown going mad - although picking his nose in the House of Commons knowing he was on TV may have been the start of it - because he is grotesque enough hanging onto his sanity.

George Galloway doesn’t deserve to be knocked down – he should be strung up.

‘I share a lot of your [BNP] objectives.‘

Paul Staines

Chris Paul said...

What is the relevance of that ancient Staines link? LOL rehabiltated Mr Staines on this BNP link back in April, while under threat of writ to boot.

GuF is not a racist or a BNP fellow traveller. His mates are however a shower of sexist, homophobic potty mouths and do number some racist haters and BNP sympathisers among them.

Newmania said...

Yes Chris but as we know anyone with any pride in the country at all is in your view a racist , what can one make of such an allegation.
As I like to remind you it is Labour Voters defecting to the BNP not Conservative Voters. As Mr. BRown has to concern himself with the core working class vote and not the pontificating fellow travellers he is the one placating the BNP , not David , who would be crucified for such scurrilous hate mongering

"Good morning, comrades, welcome to the annual general meeting of the British Nazi Party. It's great to be back in Dagenham.

On the agenda today: British homes for British people, British jobs for British workers and forcing all immigrants to speak English.

We'll also be passing a resolution aimed at setting up a Britishness Day and addressing the problem of immigrants sitting around in the streets, drinking.

Our first speaker is Herr Brown, Fuhrerinwaiting of our glorious National Socialist Party, on the theme of 'they come over here, they take our jobs'."

It does amuse me whow little you know of your own Party`s support

Well said Newmania!

Bang on target! NULAB knows its support among the British working class is moving to the BNP so what do they do? First, they silence the real BNP using their searchlight/UAF thugs! Second, they steal the BNP language and pass it off as their own!
Scumbags of the first order I think you will agree?

Newmania said...

I do

Chris paul, I'm curious.

Are you paid for all this astroturfing or are you really the last Labour party supporter left in the country?
