On Vox Politix at 10pm I'll be joined by left of centre broadcaster and journalist Boni Sones, teacher Catriona Mackenzie and Tory MP Greg Hands.
Also, if you can think of anyone you would like to see interviewed for an hour on 18Ds, do let me know and I'll see if I can set it up.
UPDATE: The Edwina Currie interview is on the 18DS archive HERE. Eggs and John Major are covered in the last 20 minutes of the 67 minute interview.

Does he really tuck his shirt into his Y-fronts?
How does she like her eggs in the morning?
What does she think of Dave?
I can guess the reply but I enjoy a good squirm along with everyone else.

Does she regret not being part of the Titanic during 1992-97 ( ie) in JM's Cabinet)? What does she think were his greatest achievements, and mistakes, in Government?
1)On hindsight were we correct to get rid of Mrs Thatcher when we did, and would it have been better to lose in the 92 GE?
2)Did having a female PM make life any easier for women in the parliamentary party back then, and would you ever consider going back into politics now?
PS. You did the right thing with the salmonella scandal.
Has she ever experienced the emotion of shame?
would she vote for Cameron?
What does Edwina think of her successor candidate in South Derbyshire?
Is she in favour of small government? If so, from what specific activities would she have the government withdraw?
Had she read the anonymised, verbatim transcripts of David Cameron's policy speeches, would she have been able to guess which party he belonged to?
Does she think David Beckham deserves a knighthood? Because I do! LoL
I won't watch because - tonight - it's the England game, the Diana thing and Big Brother. Edwina Currie just doesn't have the same 'pull' factor. :)
Actually, I would like to know if she uses the internet on a regular basis. Does she read political blogs?
Is she aware that the internet has changed the face of political discourse (not intercourse ! ) forever?
Thanks.
Does she regret having talked about the affair, and does she accept that Major's principled silence on the matter was more dignified?
Did she find her natural reticence and shyness a hinderance to a career in politics?
If she had ever been promoted to foriegn secretary would she have been able to keep a straight face If john Major had said in cabinet
"Edwina we need to discuss Uganda" ?
Does she accept her part in the downfall of the last conservative administration, and does she regret it?
When are you going to get blogging MP John Redwood onto the sofa? He certainly did better at PMQs today than Cameron.
...plus, Innovation led America is reducing CO2 emmisions whilst tax-led Europe is increasing... why is the BBC not reporting this?
Were the underpants big? And can she describe the shade of blue?
Did she turn down the offer of a return to government as Prisons Minister in 1992 because she didn't like the subject matter, or because she felt John Major owed her more than that?
Would she ever consider standing again as an MP or MEP?
What are her views on Europe and have they changed since she was in office?
And did she ever do that bit that she describes in "A Parliamentary Affair" with fruit and whipped cream with John Major?
I'm really looking forward to not watching this.
I hope no floating voters see it. I can't think of a politician whose appearance would do more to remind people why they stopped voting tory. Even Neil Hamilton is held in a bit of affection now (rightly, but that's a different story.
How about Norman Tebbit ?
Edwina Currie had a letter in the Telegraph in which she mentioned that support for Grammars was really the middleclasses wanting the 80% excluded to help pay for a free public school education , perhaps you would ask her to eleborate on that point which ( in my view ) is a good one.
What does she feel is her greatest achievement in her ministerial career?
Does she regret her relationship with John Major?
How did that past relationship colour her ministerial career and relationship with PM Major?
How would she like to be remembered; and how does she think she IS remembered?
I consider that Edwina abandoned the Tories at some point during the 1990s - her subsequent criticisms was unhelpful and seemed to be self-serving.
What does she think of former Birmingham Labour councillor Hugh McCallion's vitriolic and mysogynistic articles about her? Therein are allegations that she punched a fellow councillor. Assuming that she stands by her denial what is the nearest that she has come to violence during her political career?
Iain I like Edwina Currie as a good sort poltically and a very sound bird as well , I hope you are going to ask some expansive questions about her views on the issues that concern us all
1 Education/ Grammars ( about which she clearly has a strong view)
2 Benefits / Tax Credit - Leaving aside the woeful delivery would she agree that there is a good idea at the heart of this?
3 How would she compare David Cameron with previous leaders
Major
Thatcher
Does she see him as betraying the Conservative heritage or , as Kieron O`Hara argues , rescuing the Conservative Party from the grip of doctrinaire libertarians ..or whatever.
4 How does she view the Growth of the state and the calls for relief from ever increasing taxation .
Boring I know but I would like to hear what she thinks rather than just ask a few specific questions
"Also, if you can think of anyone you would like to see interviewed for an hour on 18Ds, do let me know and I'll see if I can set it up."
Iain, you didn't mention the limits. It would be great to get Bjorn Lomborg.
Otherwise maybe Kate Hoey or Nick Clegg.
Iain
Interview me please
MOG
Is she in the least bit ashamed (1) of cheating on Norma Major and (2) thereby turning John Major into a hypocrite vis-a-vis his "Back-to-Basics" policy? And does she think their affair is why he handled all the other Tory sleazebag adulterers so badly?
As bit of sex pot what did she think of the Flint moaning at being voted sexiest woman on Web Cameron and what does she make of . Women to win (that lurking mafia of Chablis swilling elitists.)
In the news today there were figures showing the escalation of IVF being undergone by women in their 40s . What does she think of the pressures on professional women and to what extent should they receive special treatment at the expense of men.
Is john mc cririck genuinely a t*** in real life or does he put it on ?
Edwina had to live with the beast of primrose hill for a fortnight(wife swap chanel 4)
I got the impression he is for real.
Did she tip MH's hand about the affair before he went into the "short" meeting at No 10 with JM which turned into a very "long" meeting during the leadership battle?
Is she proud to be a scouser? and how did her Liverpool upbringing shape her poltical life?
Is your studio big enough to accomodate her ego?
Should the British people be asked if they want to remain in the European Union. Does she feel the question asked in the 1970's has any relevance to what is before us now with the european constitution and so the British people need to be asked again.
FROM SEA SHANTY IRISH:
Which of the following best characterizes her personal & political assessment of BORIS JOHNSON:
1) Gives buffoons a bad name
2) Next great Prime Minister we'll never have
3) Dangerous emitter of greenhouse gases
4) Should be parachuted into Tony Blair's old Sedgefield constituency to revive Tory vote in the North of England
5) Could boink for Britain
6) Closet anarcho-syndicalist and Cornish nationalist with maoist tendencies who is secret leader of Mebyon Kernow
7) The thinking person's Jeffrey Archer
8) All of the above
Scraping the barrell giving airtime to this self promoting nonentity. Has Frank Field or Kate Hoey been on. Get swome quality.
Will you admit you got the Euro issue totally wrong?
Crackers and Taxcutter-BANG ON!
What about JM's best friend D Mellor?
A question for you Iain - why are you wasting your time with this rather foolish woman who has not been active in politics for so many years?
You could be interviewing up-and-coming MPs of any Party who are likely to be making a contribution to our future rather than has-beens who can't keep their mouths shut.
Judith, we do a lot of that also. Click here for proof!

Edwina is always good value in an interview because she always has something interesting to say.
Who is teacher catriona mckenzie?
Did she ever consider defecting to Labour or the Lib Dems during the '92-'97 Parliament (if so, which one) and did she ever think she'd keep her seat as a Conservative in 1997?
That interview was amazing , what great value she is.
Spellbinding
Excellent interview with Edwina, really enjoyed it. Still think that she was a loss to the party when she left parliament.
Still admire her guts for being honest about the scandal of the salmonella problem.
When are you going to persuade Guido on to your comfy sofa's for a one to one interview?
53 comments and 16 of them from adolescent, over-excitable, predictable anonymouses (who were probably all on the Olympics logo design team, such is their quality). And four deleted by the blog owner.
So out of 53 comments, 33 legitimate. There is a loopy, triumphant mean-spiritedness about the English. They're not light-hearted. They're angry.
"They're not light-hearted. They're angry."
Coming from *Verity*? She's definitely a spoof.
That cannot be Verity surely ?
