My Channel 4 Podcast today, which you can find HERE, features Dizzy's investigations of the Johnson4Leader domain names. He's just posted an update and seems to have solved the puzzle. It all seems to lead directly back to Alan Johnson himself. Oh joy. I also feature Liberal Democrat Voice and Tim Worstall. Mind you, after reading THIS on Tim's blog, I am beginning to regret it!

Iain, our drug policy vis heroin is based on an American reverend who was also keen on termperence and prohibition.
Prohibition caused more problems than it solved. Looking at Afghanistan and Columbia, let alone lots of our council estates, are you suggesting that it is pain free for drugs?
Who is David Taylor? Read the links. Great detective work.
I have to say Tim's talking more sense than you on this particular issue Iain.
Tim is talking total sense. If an addict can get their fix without stealing from their friends and family and everyone else the streets and our homes would be safer. It is perfectly possible to hold down a job as a heroin addict just as it is possible to do a job on anti-depressants or painkillers. (Though I wouldn't want surgery from an heroin addicted consultant obviously!) Most of us accept that addiction is a disease and requires medical help amongst other kinds. But dishing out green poison (methadone) is NOT the cure and far more damaging to the health of the individual than supplying them with medical heroin. Also, if the NHS had clinics dispensing heroin to registered addicts we could supply them from Afghancrops. Everybody happy.
greenham woman
there also happens to be a world wide shortage of legal morphine, just as we are trying to stop the afghans growing it (hahaha of course we are)
Mr Grapelcard
Heroin addiction costs the taxpayer very dear. And the country is already full of zombies. How else could we have voted the NuLabour freaks in for a third term? I would rather a "heroin addicted zombie" walked past me in the street than mugged me for a tenner. Whilst cigarettes and alcohol are legal it is an absolute nonsense for heroin to be illegal. It is like banning hunting yet allowing battery chicken farming.
