And the country is already full of zombies. How else could we have voted the NuLabour freaks in for a third term? I would rather a "heroin addicted zombie" walked past me in the street than mugged me for a tenner. Whilst cigarettes and alcohol are legal it is an absolute nonsense for heroin to be illegal. It is like banning hunting yet allowing battery chicken farming.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6214838.post-1158258071106993492006-09-14T19:21:00.000+01:002006-09-14T19:21:00.000+01:00greenham womanthere also happens to be a world wid...greenham woman<BR/>there also happens to be a world wide shortage of legal morphine, just as we are trying to stop the afghans growing it (hahaha of course we are)The Hitchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17007793676288933155noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6214838.post-1158247855611471602006-09-14T16:30:00.000+01:002006-09-14T16:30:00.000+01:00Tim is talking total sense. It is perfectly possible to hold down a job as a heroin addict just as it is possible to do a job on anti-depressants or painkillers. (Though I wouldn't want surgery from an heroin addicted consultant obviously!) Most of us accept that addiction is a disease and requires medical help amongst other kinds. But dishing out green poison (methadone) is NOT the cure and far more damaging to the health of the individual than supplying them with medical heroin. Also, if the NHS had clinics dispensing heroin to registered addicts we could supply them from Afghancrops. Everybody happy.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6214838.post-1158247322719759872006-09-14T16:22:00.000+01:002006-09-14T16:22:00.000+01:00I have to say Tim's talking more sense than you on...I have to say Tim's talking more sense than you on this particular issue Iain.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6214838.post-1158245505712354792006-09-14T15:51:00.000+01:002006-09-14T15:51:00.000+01:00Who is David Taylor? Looking at Afghanistan and Columbia, let alone lots of our council estates, are you suggesting that it is pain free for drugs?Benedict Whitehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01382732288664789210noreply@blogger.com
