Chris Ames has been pursuing the Foreign Office and the Information Commissioner about the 45 minute dossier. He reckons it was former Foreign Office spin doctor John Williams who drafted it and has been making FOI requests about it. The FCO refused to release a draft of it.
Yesterday he wrote about it HERE and has more on his HERE and HERE.. I won't go into the ins and outs but he deserves full credit for being so tenacious. Yesterday the Information Commissioner ruled in his favour and ordered the FCO to release the details.

Why hasn't the Information Commissioner been (a) rubbished ("What have we got on him?") or (b) sacked and replaced with a Labour donor?
This is far too serious a matter to be raised on this blog; for goodness sakes get back to football and sounding off, generally.
Of course everything since 9/11 is very much of a piece, and a neocon piece at that, and follows the concept of the 'Noble Lie' promulgated by Leo Strauss, father of the Neocon movement before its transmogrification from Shachtmanite Trotskyism by his disciples such as Richard Perle and Paul Wolfowitz.
Also in the Senate, Henry Waxman is determined to get to the bottom (already well scraped by the blogs) of the Niger Yellowcake forgery.
Well, their lies look neither noble nor plausible to me and have resulted in needless bloodshed and loss and should be pursued ruthlessly and punished for the sake of the even more noble concepts of truth and democracy.
