EXCLUSIVE: Kofi or Black Coffee?

Now if I were a member of Her Majesty's Press digging around the Charles Kennedy story I might well be trying to find out what happened when Kofi Annan visited Charles Kennedy at Cowley Street. It has suggested the UN Secretary General found the LibDem leader (sic) in an, ahem, er, 'unprepared' state. His aides were mortified.

I think Lib Dem leader (hic) may be more accurate.

Anonymous's comment about you leaving North Norfolk is just childish, but it has been noted from your supporters that North Norfolk has been totally wiped off your blog, despite your comment that you would stick around. With the deepest of respect, are you committed to the area or see it only as an entry into Parliament? Are you planning to seek a more winnable seat or remain committed to the area? If the former, I'm very disappointed in you.

Iain has already said that he won't stand in North Norfolk again. The people have spoken - the bastards.

Anonymous' comments above were childish. But repeating tittle tattle as some sort of insider information is more than childish and an indicator of why Iain lost. Does Norman Lamb have a website devoted to friend-of-a-friend's-sister's-style anecdotes about David Cameron and whether or not he is a former devotee of the old Columbian marching powder? I very much doubt it.

It's not really very big to post childish nonsense like calling someone a loser as an anonymous person is it!! Make you look a rather sad individual really.

If you posted under your own name I might bother to respond...

I have no idea whether Norman Lamb has a website devoted to finding out whether Cameron is a devotee of the'columbian marching powder' or not.But having been involved in a few by -elections I can confirm that they are by far the nastiest, underhanded and dishonest bunch you could meet.
Kennedys problems are a source of some amusement.Hopefully he'll fight to stay as leader or better still they replace him with Hughes.
