Cameron's Nuclear Option

No one in the press seems to have picked up on the fact that David Cameron has given a clear indication that he will reject nuclear power as a major option for Britain's enemy needs in the future. Peter Ainsworth, the new Shadow Environment Secretary is firmly anti-nuclear, as are John Gummer and Zac Goldsmith, who are heading up the new Commission. Cameron's CO2 reduction plans are also straight out of the Friends of the Earth handbook. Who'd have thought it, the Green Conservatives! From the polls which will be in tomorrow's papers, people seem to like the thought.
