In defence of the Cabinet:

They have a wealth of appropriate experience. Whilst they may not have cutting edge progressive agendas, they all have relevant and practical experience in key areas. I think this is more desirable than said progressive agendas, because we're in the middle of a recession, and we need steady hands who can bring us back to a comfortable economic position, rather than engineer any social change, for this term anyway.
