A New Novel About Gordon Brown: Don't All Rush...

His looks smouldered. He brow furrowed. The Iron Chancellor leaned over and with all the effort he could muster, puckered his lips and whispered: "It would be prudent to kiss me now." Well, this is the sort of thing we may look forward to in a new novel, to be published by Faber & Faber at the end of June called GORDON BROWN: THE NOVEL. Personally, I can't think who would wish to even pick up a novel on Brown, let alone read it. Its author is listed as A O'Hagan, but there's nothing to tell us about the plot. We all know that Gordon knows nothing about plots, don't we? The papers are full of another Gordon Brown related book today, a subject to which I shall return later this morning. Check back soon!
