I'm Not Mentioning Football Again. Ever.
I've had several emails from readers gently asking why I haven't blogged about football this weekend. I'd have thought it was pretty bleedin' obvious! Losing 4-1 against ten players isn't exactly something to shout about, is it? Anyway, I blame Tory MP Keith Simpson. West Ham were 1-0 up and Chelsea had a player sent off and then the phone goes. It's Keith. By the time the conversation ends and I've caught up with all the Norfolk gossip, the Hammers are 2-1 down. That'll teach me never to answer the phone during a football match.

NEWSFLASH : Iain Dale becomes part of blame culture!
Did KS offer any advice on defence?
We are becoming scarily more and more alike. I too blame Tory MPs for virtually everything.
As a West Ham inhabiting Chelsea supporter I feel I can indulge in a bit of gloating! ;)
Any old Irons - I'd had thought Iain, you would think Blue is the Colour . . . . sorry could not resist the gloating (but not as much of the Spurs fans I heard yesterday afternoon supporting the Mancs!)
Sure West Ham had a bad day-bit like living in Epsom and having a pop at Croydon!
I come from Epsom and I actually like Croydon!
What a coincidence!
