Its amazing that this is the first time that Gordon Brown's faith is being questioned in the MSM.

At least Clegg is honest on this point of principle, without having a faith to make him such.

A 'Jackie Milburn moment'? Is that when you say something absolutely accurate on the radio, a newspaper reporter mishears it and attacks you for something you never said, and starts a rumour which is spread by irresponsible opposition politicians? Because that's what happened to Tony Blair.

I thought Plaid were republican (at least, they were before respectability crept up on them -- about 1999 when they emerged as "The Party of Wales"). So why would the Plaid want peers at Westminster?

A senate/Seanad (whatever invented term they want) at Cardiff, perhaps.
