Daisy McAndrew Has a Baby

Congratulatons to Daisy McAndrew who gave birth to a baby girl on Monday evening. I saw her last week in the Commons and she looked as if she was about to explode! She's now taking 5 months maternity leave before returning to our screens after the party conference season. Daisy's father, who died a few months ago, was (according to Richard Kay in the Mail) shown a scan of the baby at 5 months and called it Mabel. Go with it Daisy! I have an Auntine Mabel and thoroughly approve of the name!

You will find out in five months, apparently. ITN must be thrilled.

Will Charles Kennedy be asked to be Godfather I wonder?

Daisy "My Dad was famous" McAndrew is a disgrace. Her antics during (and helping to bring about) the Kennedy resignation were beyond reproach and she has no credibility as a journalist.

If I were the kid I'd watch out. She's just one bit nipple away from being the victim of a "Mabel McAndrew has a drink problem" expose on the Ten O'Clock News.

Ooooooooh, get those bitter LibDims..... :-)

Seriously, would you hire her as a press officer?

PS: LibDims is brilliant! Nearly as funny as the Tawdry Party and Liebour. Inspired.

No slur on your Auntie Mabel, Iain, but what is this obsession with housemaids' names these days? Mabel, Maisie, Sadie, Hannah and Gertie are all madly fashionable. Mind you, I suppose it's better than Peaches, Heavenly Hirani and Fifi Trixibelle, not to mention Apple.
