Stephen Pollard has an interesting little side anecdote...As Daniel Finkelstein points out to me, of the past four LibDem leaders, one was charged with conspiracy to murder, another admitted having an affair, and now another confesses to having been an alcoholic. Not had much luck really, have they? With a bit of luck they'll be able to find a leadership candidate who can combine all three.
Cruel, but so true.
