9:30am A meeting to admire the hair of Boris Johnson. Boris will be triumphantly describing his victory as Mayor in successfully executing the Crossrail and Olympics thingies to the precise plan put forward by Ken whom we no longer mention in public. High Morning Brunch.
11.00am A short film by George Osborne: how to enjoy a yachting holiday and the value of contemporary links with the Russian business community.
11.15am Sloppy Tiffins.*
12.00 noon. Iain Dale: How I became the World's Leading Independent Tory Blogger and genuinely Nice Chap all at the Same Time as becoming MP for Bracknell and Lymeswold West.
12.30am Ken Clarke will preside over a splendid luncheon sponsored by World Tobacco Day. Theme: How to Avoid Mentioning Europe Whilst Being in the Shadow Cabinet.
2.45pm Lunch over, the Party will sing Jerusalem and admire the WI and fox hunting. (Know at Eton as Mad Afternoons)
3.30pm High Floggings.**
4.30pm Closing debate on pensions. (conference empties)
* An Eton custom - Eton phrases are appearing more and more these days at Conference.
