You'll Never Walk Alone on Sunset Boulevard
Wales on Sunday political journalist (who has an excellent blog) is reporting that Michael Howard is to take part in the ITV1 Game Show DON'T CALL ME STUPID. I haven't seen it, but apparently two celebrities are pitted against each other and have to answer questions on the other's specialist subject after a crash course. Howard's opponent is...wait for it... Wayne Sleep. Sleep will have to answer questions on Liverpool FC, while Howard will be answering questions about high campery on the West End stage West End Musicals. .
Has he "clearly been put up to it by someone"?
ReplyDeleteAnd is it hosted by Ant or Dec or will we have someone much more low rent, like Brian Connoly, trying to rip Howard's last shred of dignity away. Don't do it Michael! You're better than this!!
ReplyDeleteAre you all thinking what I'm thinking?
ReplyDelete"I'm sorry, Mr Howard, but I have to ask one more time, did you, or did you not, threaten to eat Wayne Sleep's jockstrap?"
ReplyDeleteI always knew there was something of the tights about him.
ReplyDelete"two celebrities are pitted against each other"
ReplyDeleteI wish were more like this!
Thanks to the parliamentary register of members' interests, we know that Michael Howard was paid a fee between £5000 and £10,000 for appearing on this show, while George Galloway commanded a fee of between £10,000 and £15,000.
ReplyDeleteIf it is to be believed ??
Has the man gone mad?
ReplyDeleteAppearing on some tawdry reality show with some washed up has been with .
All I can say is that Wayne Sleep must be getting pretty desperate.
