Tales of a Norfolk Teacher: No 94
At the risk of being accused of becoming obsessed with the Norfolk Blogger, THIS really is a very funny story. Don't click if you are squeamish about needles and foreskins...

What century are we living in? It's not like young males have anything else to develop their hand-eye co-ordination ... like, for example, video games.
Need I remind you how much the British fashion industry makes in invisible earnings to this country ?
Yes, the last time I checked, they weren't all hand-stitched in Victorian factories though.
David, Dashion students are expected to be able to sew. I am sorry also that you don't have th enecessary skills to sew. I do and have found it useful in repairing clothes, socks, football kits, and in particular sewing buttons on to things.
Interestingly, my experience is that boys are, on the whole, much better at sewing that girls. I think it is the eye hand co-ordination I mentioned.
