The Great Firewall of China Breached

I must be doing something wrong. My blog can breach the Great Firewall of China. I was mightily relieved to find out that the Chinese won't be subjected to 18 Doughty Street though. That's blocked. Just as well. It could provoke a revolution!

  1. The Chinese probably confused it with Chipen Dale's Diary which, as you would expect, enjoys a considerable following among Party officials.

  2. 我们全部喜欢读您的页, 但我们不了解一件事。谁是杰克・Russell 并且为什么您非常喜欢他?

  3. You blog's been readable here in China since they unblocked blogspot, though they might yet block it (blogspot) again. 18doughtystreet is also viewable. I'm sure the National People's Congress really wants to know "What are the British people's priorities?"

rongwei is saying something like "We're happy to see your page, but don't get (understand) it. Who is Jieke (George? Jack?) Russell and why are you unusually happy?"

I'm sure someone can produce a better translation than mine, though.

  7. This is hilarious: I'm a COMMUNIST and they blocked my blog.

Of course, China is anything but Communist nowadays. It's a simple kleptocracy, but their robber barons run it better than the Russians run their country.
