  1. Come on Mossad - You must know where he lives. Get on with it.

  2. He lost it years ago...

  3. Hey..George speaks true words and gives a fairer view of events than the crap and bias usually found in the western media. I think if there was an election now. he'd increase his majority!

I think if there was an election today where there was not massive postal voting fraud, George "don't confuse me with the facts" Galloway would lose his deposit.

  7. Who is that brain-dead bimbette? When are Sky going to start employing journalists whose make-up allowance does not exceed their IQ and training bills?

I can't see how you can say Galloway 'lost it' with her - he was no different than he always is. Not my cup of tea but rang rings around that particular ambassador of the Murdoch thought police.

  9. The thing about Galloway is that, while he speaks the truth about Israel and the middle east, he talks bollocks about everything else.

  10. What are you going to be doing next Iain, sticking up for the journalistic standards on Murdoch's News of the World ?

Gorgeous George may be a bit of a scamp, but at least he doesn't go bombing innocent civilians.

  11. George Galloway loses his temper.

Next from YouTube, footage of the Pope conducting Mass.

Followed by exclusive coverage of a bear defecating in the forest.

A complete nutter who is just full of his own importance.
Someone said.. there is no such thing as bad publicity.
    Why give it to him?

  13. Cityblue - inciting violence. Yeah, like that is going to work in winning the moral high ground of this argument..

  14. I sent an Email to george on monday morning asking him if he would be willing to air his views on what he calls "the freedom fighters of Hezbolah" on the streets of Haifa.

As of today Thursday he has yet to reply.

Obviously in his book the destruction of a nation qualifies you as freedom fighters.

His behaviour, Senate Hearings aside, Qualify him as a tosser.

  15. seriously...how long can this man's fragile mental state keep doing this balancing act? I'm intrigued by the way he can offend so many people in such a short period of time.... but i suppose he stand up for his views.

  16. I wish someone on the right could take on sky like that.
Iain this isn't ranting - its real politics NOT focus group dross.

I wish someone would come on Sky this morning ranting in a similar manner about Heathrow being shut 2 days AFTER St. Tone escaped. - He clearly knew it was going to happen and is wathching it all on Sir Cliff's TV.

  17. Lordy!

Yes, it's a day or so late posting. But better late than never.

I'm against the Israeli actions in Lebanon, but you don't have to walk on all fours to find Galloway to be a slavering anti-Israeli ape. He is.

Galloway's position doesn't help anyone but Galloway.

  18. I don't agree with anything he says but I can't think of any I'd rather listen to debate.

Brilliant orator too, with quite an old fashioned style and turn of phrase.

Great concluding argument about the casualties on the beach.

  19. With that ridiculous beard he now looks like Garyy Glitter. He is such a fool that he blunts his message with his style of presentation.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Whether you agree or not with what he has to say - saying he 'lost it' is unreasonable.

Taking such views (and much of the media does take such views) on anything said in support of Hezbollah or Hamas is making many educated centre-left/centre-right citizens of the world start to empathise with them and is counterproductive to their aim of supporting Israel.

  21. The one point I was aching for the Sky Interviewer to make was that while the US may be supplying Israel with armaments, neither the US or Israel is committed to wiping Iran off the map. This is just what that poison dwarf Ahmedinajad wishes to do to Israel. I would like to hear Gorgeous 'Catman' George's comments on that unlovely piece of rhetoric. Preferably before Mossad go all Munich on him.

  22. "Most people" view Israel as a terrorist state? Er, no. Most people may think its actions are disproportionate (I don't) but a terrorist state? He needs to get out more.

  24. The man should be sectioned...

  25. Like him or loathe him, George can run political rings around pretty much anyone - and would certainly make all the posters here look very, very silly if challenged to a real, live debate.

It just makes such a refreshing change to listen to someone that passionately believes in his arguments - how many politicians can you say that about ?

    ReplyDelete
  26. Galloway does insane ranting ayatollah impression dressed as Gary Glitter shocker.

He is a disgusting, shameless, opportunist demagogue. And a twat.

  27. Raincaster:
"find Galloway to be a slavering anti-Israeli ape."

Though you may disagree with the israelis it is not heelpful to call them subhumans, as the Israeli press spokesperson apparently did the other day of the Lebanese.

  28. Loses it? IMHO he kicked some major a$$. When he is in fuill flow, he is unrivalled. Go George!!!

  29. I have to say, as someone who is often described as "Slightly To The right of Ghengis Khan" I am intruiged by George Galloway MP. I do not agree with Iain, who obviously wants to be called into the SKY studio's to review their papers! BUT he did not lose it. He was making his point loudly and as plainly as only he can. The interviewer was very good but she kept scoring own goals by continuing asking him questions when she should have cut him off after 30 seconds.

In a Muslim Government George will be the Prime Minister. (better tyhan Prescott though)

    ReplyDelete
  30. Oh God, the pain - I could only watch it for 30 seconds before reaching for the bucket!

Why didn't the interviewer ask 'Mr Galloway, why did Isreal invade Lebanon on the day your daughter was born'.

Hezbuallah have been waging war against a soveriegn nation state for over two decades. Lebanon was invaded in order to prevent Syrian and Iranian backed Lebanese malitia from bombing Israeli towns. The same reason why the Golan Heights, the West Bank and the Gaza strip were also invaded - and then retreated from when it was considered safe enough to do so!

If the Lebanese Government cannot/will not/chooses not to stamp out those who insist on firing katusha rockets into Isreal, then I am afraid Israel must do it!

Isreal might over react at times (and it might wel have done so on this occassion), but no nation on earth is repeatedly asked to show as much restraint in the face of such constant bombardment as Isreal.

Paxman or Humphreys would have eaten Galloway alive - then dies of food poisening!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Just watched it again (needed a sick bag though). Dear oh dear! Even if we give him the benefit of the doubt and say that he has a point to make, why does he have to be so rude, so patronising ("what a silly little girl you are" should have been replied to by "at least I am not a fat balding old git with bad breath"!), and so gloating about the deaths that Israel is suffering. There is no one side more or less wronged than the other - but George's anti-Isreal position makes most Zionists look positively peacable.

He forgets the Arabs in the middle east have a history of never being able to accept 'yes' for an answer!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Still doesn't detract from the fact that he comes across as an obnoxious bully who seems to be rigid in his views

    ReplyDelete
  33. vervet - I don't think you can say that was a debate. It was a rant - he's very good at cranking the temperature up, shouting loudly and hectoring and insulting anyone who disagrees with him. That's not 'running political rings' round people.

By the way, many dictators and despots passionately believe in their own arguments - so I am not sure that self-belief is in itself commendable, it depends what those beliefs are.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Cityblue - 'neither the US or Israel is committed to wiping Iran off the map'. Watch this space...

Like many of the posters, I do applaud Galloway's ability to have an argument and conduct a debate. His debate with Christopher Hitchens even had politically apathetic American students queuing round the block to hear him.

You, like me, may not always like what he says, but my challenge would be for you to debate your points articulately in response.

  35. And here's what Galloway "passsionately believes in", taken from the Resepect Party website:

  36. Sensibly anonymous said:

"The thing about Galloway is that, while he speaks the truth about Israel and the middle east, he talks bollocks about everything else"

I am almost speechless. The whole rant was bristling with verifiable falsehoods and misrepresentations that any competent journalist should have jumped on. Especially, as she should have known what to expect.

Why do Sky, or the BBC with my money, give platforms to mindless bigots? At least I don't pay Sky.

  37. For George Galloway read Julius Streicher. Galloway should be sent to prison. It must hurt him so much that Israel doesn't give a flying f*** about what the likes of him thinks. Good on Israel.

  38. Galloway goes one better.

"You know, I don't want to embarrass any particular Arab ruler, but once I spoke to a prince. I told him there were three British newspapers on sale for 100 million pounds - The Daily Express, The Sunday Express, and The Daily Star. Three important newspapers. 'Why don't you buy them,' I said. 'You could make a foothold for a decent point of view on the Arab world, if you were to buy these newspapers.' He could have bought them, but he didn't have the courage to buy them. He'd rather spend the money on other things. You know, in London, there is enough money thrown onto the roulette tables of London's casinos by Arabs, which could buy media in America and Britain, and transform the landscape. But I tell you, the good news is this: In the desert, just a few drops of water can transform the landscape. All we need is a few drops of water, because the American and British people have no faith, no trust, in their leaders. They know that the policy of their leaders is leading them to disaster. We need to intelligently apply the resources that we have, and people can contact me, to my e-mail, through my website, georgegalloway.com. I have many ideas on how we can do this. I just don't have any money."

    Room Service!!!

"Two of the Arab world's beautiful daughters, Jerusalem and Baghdad, are in the hands of these foreigners, these occupiers, and nothing can be done by the Arab rulers, because they are in bed, fornicating with the foreigners, who are occupying and using these beautiful Arab daughters as they will."

  39. George Galloway made his points forcefully and with passion.

His views are also more in line with most people than those that back Bush and Blair who say carry on killing.

Galloway ended by pointing out that to Sky News a Lebanese life is worth less than an Israeli life.

Around 1000 in Lebanon are dead including 450 children, killed by weapons supplied by USA and UK.

As Galloway said the Israelis have killed 30 times more civillians than on the Lebanese or Hezbollah.

Who wouldn't come close to losing it, faced with this situation if they were trying to make their point that this is immoral and unacceptable by any standard of decency.

I want to hear those that attack Galloway, condemn this mass slaughter, instead of debasing this matter into one of personalities and party politics.

If you accept that innocent Lebanese lives are fair game to be blasted into pieces, then where is any moral authority to condemn the plot to blow up aircraft?

    Tom

  40. "His views are also more in line with most people than those that back Bush and Blair who say carry on killing."

I sincerely doubt most people are as anti-Israel as he is even if they don't think highly of the current war. Hannibal's link above shows what his party thinks of the Jews. A cartoon worthy of 1930s Germany. By all means criticise Israel but Galloway goes too far. Check out Guido's blog on this too.

In WWII we believed our blood was more valuable than that of the Germans. If our sympathies are with Israel then naturally we are going to be more concerned with the loss of Israeli life. That might seem harsh but it's the way wars work.

George is spot on,news is this country is nothing but propaganda and hence why so many people think Israel is above the law.Of course Arabs had a right to challenge the existence of Israel, they forcibly with our help took their land!Last year over 600 palestinian children were killed by Israelis, it isn't to hard to figure out why Hizbollah/Hamas are fighting Israel
