When Madonna first moved to England she said she wanted to feel more English.

She is now an unmarried, single mother with three kids from different fathers, one of them black.

Job well done!!!!!

I find the Lib Dem Voice piece totally astounding. It would be fine were it not for the fact that some of them regard themselves as entitled to treat others as more or less equal, at the discretion of local party executive officers, this apparently not amounting to any legitimate grounds for intervention by Cowley Street HQ.

If the Lib Dems are going to defend human rights for the BNP and Holocaust Deniers, perhaps they could also spare some time ensuring procedures for ensuring fairness are entrenched into their own party systems.

Low debt and high employment

"We will continue to meet our fiscal rules: over the economic cycle,we will borrow only to invest, and keep net debt at a stable and prudent level." Labour party 2005 Manefesto

"We will not raise the basic or top rates of income tax in the next
Parliament" Labour party 2005 Manefesto

I detect that it was always Brown's plan to do away with 10P as he did not mention the lower basic rate! Brown is a Fibber of the highest order!
