And a Partridge in a Pear Tree...
Spotted: Three ex Chancellors of the Exchequer walking through Portcullis House together - Messers Howe, Lawson & Lamont. Can't think where they may have been...
Sorry, O/T, but I've just seen Brown on the BBC News at 1pm. We had just seen pictures of the terrorist attacks in Mumbai, then Brown appears. His first words: "I think I speak for the whole world when I say..." Is there no end to the man's megalomania? By the way, at the risk of sounding paranoid, I notice that just about every news bulletin on radio begins with: "Gordon Brown ....." Any reference to Cameron is negative, as in: "Mr Cameron was under fire today..." "The Conservative leader was forced to defend himself from..." Good old BBC!
It's not paranoia on your part (Bird @ 1:54 pm), it happens all the time.
Whenever Cameron makes a statement of any kind, you can be pretty sure that the BBC will report it along the lines of "David Cameron was attacked for saying... " rather than simply "David Cameron said... "

W.V. rativat. Is it a comment on the PBR?
Hopefully they were with at the Drinkers Alliance session. I am sure none of them want to see the end of the pub.
I wonder if they were discussing public pensions and how they might set an example.
Unlikely
Messers? M'Lords, surely?
