Looks like laws is in trouble
ReplyDeletePS - hjaving said laws was in trouble he has rented rooms. Not illegal and jaqui smith only got a slap on the wrist for it .
ReplyDeleteBut he was in a relationship with the person he rented rooms from.
But if he had lived somewhere else he would have had to claim something.
Was he claiming against his real home like Smith?? His constituency is in the west country, where is his real home? Is the Telegraph tabloidising this again? We will have to wait and see.
Many thanks for the link Iain. Sad news about David Laws and I too hope that this will not affect his career.
ReplyDeleteLiam Rhodes is right in my opinion with regards to your post on the Human Rights Act the other day. I was quite shocked to find out you were with the "What about my right to NOT BE BLOWN UP?!" brigade (and even used that exact phrase as if you were commenting on Have Your Say rather than writing a (up until recently) respected political blog.
ReplyDeleteVery disappointing, and I find it hard to believe you actually condone rendition to torture and/or death.
