And the Award for Inappropriate Headline of the Week Goes to...
... the House Magazine for the headline in this week's issue on a feature on the Disabled...
Why do you assume disabled equals wheelchair user? Deaf, blind, mentally ill people are also disabled but may not need ramp access. You attitude is very similar to my first boss, who was also gay, who, when I asked how I was doing after my first week at work, replied that hand rails were not required in the corridors for me. He was not joking. The rest of the world doesn't assume all homosexuals are window dressers so please bring yourself into the twenty-first century.
Why is it inappropriate?
ReplyDeleteAre the extra-specially-super-sensitive people going to be upset by the... the what? A play on words?
If somebody had written "Regulation felled for lumberjacks" would it be considered inappropriate?
Why go to the trouble of being offended on behalf of a group to which you do not belong?
