Talking of "Scum Sucking Pigs"... Get Wright Out!

With reference to the previous blogpost, I take it back. David Wright MP is clearly an expert on "scum sucking pigs", as he is a world renowned trougher himself. According to the Daily Telegraph...

David Wright accepted a £16,787 payment from the owners of his flat in return for giving up the right to cheap rent, then moved out. Claimed £599 for a TV but a £64.99 claim for a razor was turned down.

I feel a Get Wright Out campaign coming on. He has a majority of 5,500 over the Conservatives. The Tory candidate there is Tom Biggins. If you would like to donate to his campaign, here's how to do it. Get Wright Out!

  1. Its a pity that you are hoping to become an MP as your blog is suffering from it.

  2. It is a pity you write such bollocks. In case you hadn't caught up with the news, I failed to be selected on Saturday. There are now no other seats. So any hopes I had, no longer exist. Capice?

  5. Is this just a manifestation of your jealousy of Mr. Wright because he is an elected Member of Parliament whereas you, despite numerous attempts, are not?

Your response to 'tankus' is rather absurd.

  6. Not half as idiotic as yours. Prat.

  7. Iain, calm down. This anger emanating from your latest failed attempt at joining the troughers can't be good for your diabetes, can it?

When are you next talking about stuff n TV or radio? Ulster's finest this weekend, per chance?

  8. "trougher" MP's sadly come in all political colours.

  9. So one minute you label Wright a "twat" for describing Conservatives as "scum sucking pigs". Right, fair enough as this was clearly a below the belt thing to say/do.

Then, however, you label Wright a "scum sucking" pig.

OK. Don't you think that your latest comments are a bit hypocritical, Iain? Let's not go down the cloyingly sanctimonious route here again, please.

  10. Iain sorry to hear you didn't gain the selection on Saturday. Hopefully in the future you will be more successful.

Tankus and Jemimah I presume you are labour supporters the kind of infantile comments you have posted are commonplace among them.

  11. I see all the loonies are infesting this thread. It was Wright who called Tories Scum Sucking Pigs. Try using the scroll down button. When your right hand becomes free, that is.

  12. "It was Wright who called Tories Scum Sucking Pigs."

    Correct.

Then you labelled Wright a "scum sucking" pig.

Also, I don't understand why you need to be so hostile i.e. the "right hand" comment. Seriously, Iain, that's really unbecoming of you.

    "Twat."

Christ, Iain, you're on fire tonight.

  14. LOL! You do sound a bit irked Iain, but your responses to the leftie bottom dwellers above have brightened an otherwise dull and rainy night.

If you want to cheer up then read Andy Cookes analysis over on PB.com on the odds of a tory victory. I know you'll miss out on election night because you will not be a PPC, but the spectacle of Labour being wiped out will be one we can all enjoy.

  15. Methinks you've touched a nerve Iain.

There seems to be a hatred of Tories amongst Labour activists that verges on the irrational.

  16. i suggest Iain you look at Wright's twitter from Jan 18th before he scrubs them. Not the first time he's called Tories scumbags. someone noticed this a few minutes ago.

@BevaniteEllie as long as the scumbags stay in the shadow I'll be happy

@BevaniteEllie There aren't any Tory cabinet ministers and long may that continue

  17. Not the most erudite contribution to political debate I grant you but are you really such sensitive souls that it had you reaching for the smelling salts?

  18. Not to worry Iain. All the diversionary fire from the left seems to be puting the donations up nicely.

  19. Get David Wright out? Yes! Get Tom Biggins in? No! He doesn't even live in Telford, he lives almost an hours drive away across the county. The person we want to replace David Wright is the former assistant to Mark Pritchard MP, former Tory borough and town councillor, former Tory Mayor of Wellington, now UKIP PPC Councillor Denis Allen. Forget Biggins, we want an MP who knows where Telford is.

  20. Iain is too good to be an MP, whatever he thinks.

Iain will have more influence without than as a backbencher.

    He is Obi Wan.

  21. Well done Ian keep up the good work hightlight such things on your excellent blog. I have just donated, as I have done now on several occaisions when you have posted links to myconservatives.com campaigns!

  22. Jemimah, nobody is jealous of David Wright.

  23. Denis Allen would make a good MP.

  24. "Wonko"... To be fair to Biggins, he actually knocked on the door and introduced himself a few months ago, so he actually managed to find the somewhat obscure bit of the Telford area in which Chateau Pogo is to be found. I've lived here for 20+ years and it's the first time any candidate has bothered.

It's put me in a bit of a quandary as, intellectually, he seems to be the best chance of removing Wright, whereas emotionally I'd rather vote for the "real" tories, ie UKIP.

  25. "But it doesn't go directly into my pocket," Wright is quoted as saying in defence of his expenses-troughing.

No David, it's paid into your bank account first, isn't it?

Give us our money back you thieving b*$!?@d!

P.S. Sorry to hear you didn't come through in East Surrey - though I suspect your climate change denying might have hurt your chances with an Association that selected Peter Ainsworth ;-)

  26. Why didn't you stand as an independent ?

You can then say what you think , without having to worry what this weeks policy is .Or what Pickles is going to do to you if you get a decimal point in the wrong place!

Much better for your blood pressure , you could just be yourself .

PS.. I will not be voting labour at the next elections, Brown needs to go to jail for what he has done to this country.

  27. "Jemimah said... Is this just a manifestation of your jealousy of Mr. Wright because he is an elected Member of Parliament whereas you, despite numerous attempts, are not?"

    Not for long, darlin'

  28. Do you really need to keep putting up those constituency-by-constituency fund raising target ads? Surely a quick email to Lord A of B would sort any need for cash that any of your candidates are experiencing?
