If only we had known about this before, we could have made it the Christmas number one!

  1. It's really no laughing matter - we're all doomed (except the Bankers) >:o(

    Ha Bum Hug!

  2. The second one is very poor. The words appear after the music but it encourages you to sing along. It's like singing a karaoke song via a satellite link. It's 2 seconds slow.

  3. lame, Dale, very lame. Not even funny.

  4. Looks like a song by some spoled fat white boys

  5. Never mind! There is a new band of superheroes in town, they will sort out Gordon and all our troubles! God has answered our prayers. Meet the Johnsons.

  6. I'm usually game for anything that's ant-gordon but if I've discovered one thing in my long and weary life it is that people who post 'funny' videos on Youtube have absolutely no sense of humour whatsoever.

I couldn't get more than 10 seconds into either of those two videos.

But nonetheless, Iain, merry xmas to you and yours and all the best for 2010.

  8. Touched a nerve has it Mr Halsall?

What makes you think they're spoiled?

  9. Looks like the first one was filmed some months ago - given the clothing and the weather.

So not like an amateur Youtube effort and less appealing as a result.

Memo to Tory Office - must try less hard.

  12. Just a thought - we are a nation staying alive by feasting on its own entrails. Interest rates set to rise in the new year. Inflation to jump, spending to meander. Gravity defying QE to be wound down.

It would be a wise man who would dare predict what would happen by the Ides of March, never mind mid June.

But my prediction is that Darlings claim for 2009-10 borrowing will be hopelessly optimistic. The govt are on a binge of spending and the money is just is not there, anywhere near there to remotely cover it.

  14. Thanks for putting those vids out Iain. They have brought a smile to this old Neanderthal. Nice blog by the way. Pity about the football team though. But nobodys perfect. Merry Christmas.
