Traffic in October was virtually unchanged from September - absolute uniques up a bit but pageviews down. Year on year, traffic has increased by nearly 50%. More than half a million individual people have read this blog over the last twelve months.

Alas, His Grace has nearly fallen off the bottom of your table.
ReplyDeleteThis is curious, when his own unique visits now number (a modest) 35,000, which is 132% up on last October.
Shalom.
Out of curiosity, what proportion of your hits come from Google search?
ReplyDeleteI think Tom Harris is likely to surpass those figures next month judging by the hits he is getting at the moment.

So you get fewer readers than Nadine?
ReplyDeleteNo idea, although I doubt it. If she doesnt use Google Analytics there is no way of knowing.

ReplyDeleteI realise it's good to have a high number of visitor's to your site. It flatters you and attracts adverising.
But you must be aware that a large number of posts are from Labour trolls, which is irritating, to say the least, for conservative readers.
Can you not delete some of these pests, or will it affect the profitability of your blog?
I'm not sure how people who comment can affect profitability! Indeed, I'm not sure how one would define profitability in this context anyway!
ReplyDeleteIain, you say absolute uniques are up slightly but the number you give in the post for October is the same as for September. Typo?
ReplyDeleteMark, thanks for alerting me. The figure is 67,764, so 300 up on September. I have now corrected it.

ReplyDeleteYou got me bang to rights.
Nadine says she gets 800,000, surely she must be mistaken?
ReplyDeleteIs Shane Greer really gay?
