ReplyDeleteIt's the recession, see?
Its not the recession, the blog posts have diminished IMHO ergo visitors likewise. Furthermore filling space with the 100 top turds doesn't help either.
ReplyDeleteIt's August, all blogs, newspapers, TV progs etc have a downturn in August compared to previous months. Still way up on last year though!
ReplyDeleteA splendid idea. The 100 Top Political Turds (Regardless Of Party Allegiance). That should get readers flocking to the site.
ReplyDeleteMy personal nomination for Turd No 1: Ed Balls.
Iain, No offence was intended, I am a political junkie, holidays etc are no excuse, I want information regularly 24/7/365.!!
ReplyDeleteIncidentally Ed Balls would top the chart in my book.
PS your blog is superb.
Good results, but Nadine Dorries claims to get 700,000 unique visitors.
ReplyDeleteSo keep up the good work.
I think you will find that she is using a different counting method to Google Analytics.
ReplyDeleteI mean this with all respect, but why publish this? Who actually cares? Or is it for you own personal gratification?
ReplyDeleteI publish it a) because I always have, b) because I want to be transparent about my readership c) because it annoys the **** out of Tim Ireland and d) because it shows that blogs like mine have a wide and growing readership.
ReplyDeleteI liked that little map you used to have that showed whereabouts in the world visitors to your site were based. Why did you do away with that?
ReplyDeleteBecause it kept crashing the site. I liked it too!
ReplyDeleteMy stats went up, which wasn't bad considering I wasn't blogging. And while we are willy waving. 145,131 visitors and 249,238 page loads.
