The biggest drop this month - in fact ever on this index - is Caroline Spelman, who plummeted 29 places down to 47. Nigel Farage, after his performance on Question Time is the biggest climber, rising 15 places.

Why don't you include Nadine Dorries in your pole Ian?
ReplyDeleteShe is far more prominent in the public eye than many official Tory shadows.
A Mrs T she is not but she has the potential to be an Edwina (perhaps not shagging Dave though) Curry.
DD continues his upward climb across the board. He is fast becoming the spine of the Conservative Party.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand this - Gordon Brown 48th and Wendy Alexander is only 50th.
ReplyDeleteStill Yvette Cooper has crawled up to 46th.
And Jack Staw will be very pleased with his low profile at 31. He is busy with other plans ...
I've just been invited to take my 6th formers to a debate with DC. The topic – “freedom and liberty”. 24 hours notice given. Why the rush? I can only speculate, but the venue is a school in the Haltemprice and Howden constituency. Maybe it's to do with a by-election next week. Cynical, me?
ReplyDeletePerhaps you should do a similar exercise to rate Tennis Players by their 'media mentions' ?
ReplyDeleteIt would make about as much sense..
We ought to call you 'Fluff Dale'
ReplyDeleteI don't understand why Caroline Spelman is still there?
ReplyDeleteYou've got to start wondering now whether the Brown score is a true reflection of how awful he is, or whether people are just being petty.
ReplyDeletenorth london tory- and even more don't understand why dave(in his supreme wisdom) appointed her in the first place.Like his "hunky dunky" appointment he will come to regret it just like that poor guy of Boris's.
ReplyDeleteI think that Caroline Spelman is about to disappear altogether from the chart.
ReplyDeleteIs there a Mr Spelman?
ReplyDeleteIs the party chairmanship an appointment for a specific period or is it open-ended?

ReplyDelete"Is there a Mr Spelman?"
There is indeed a Mr Spelman. Mark Spelman is very wealthy and has ambitions to become even more so by jumping on the EU gravy train. He has aspirations to become an MEP and has been chosen as one of the Conservative candidates for next year's European Parliamentary elections.
Mr Spelman. Why am I not surprised that he is yet another gravy train merchant. What with expense fiddles by a growing number I now learn that the Party are even running former failed employee hacks as candidates for Euroland.Who the hell does the selecting?
