Spend the Night With Me

Tonight I'll be reviewing tomorrow's papers with The Observer's Ned Temko on Sky News at 11.30. Then from 1am I will be blogging the New Hampshire primary through until 3 or 4am. Do stay up and keep me company!

Could you ask Ned Temko whether last Sunday's Observer is an indication of the future direction of the paper.
Roger Alton produced probably the best of the Sunday papers.
Now he's gone we got a dreadful edition last week, devoted to Brown's "relaunch".
I shall be checking before buying next Sunday.

  4. Count me in, Iain.

Erm....it's customary for the host to keep his guest supplied with pizza at events like these...

  6. I do believe I'll randomly hang round, making an intelligent, witty viewing of your programme. But I'll give your late-night blogging a miss. Nothing personal, I just don't want to stay up that late when it's going to be just as relevant in the morning anyway. Though I did stay up all night when the last general election was on. The result was a blow, but I was on the drink so I didn't notice/care so much.

Also, anonymous, you wouldn't turn your nose up at the fees Iain can expect to get for this appearance... if you were ever in a position to earn so much, which is never going to happen. LOL.

  8. BTW, do you get really nervous before going on? Do you take forever to prepare? Do you ever worry that you'll get it all wrong? I wonder, to be honest I'm not likely to be on telly in my life so I'll have to experience it vicariously :)

  11. Iain, keep an open mind - 21st century style!

Obama is the best chance we have for creating a better world. Give the man the respect he deserves!

  14. Obama and McCain win, Hillary cries, Iain produces yet another clique-ish and anglocentric Daley Dozen...all very predictable

  15. Canvas- He wouldn't do what it will take to create a better, more secure world, and that is take out the islamists.

He's a self-seeking, opportunistic, egomaniacal slime ball. Two years' experience in the US Senate and he thinks he's ready to rule the world. What a stupid jerk.

  16. [9:01]- Iain writes an Anglocentric diary because he is,

    1. in the mother of Anglophone countries. And ...

    2. most of his readers are in the British Isles, where English is spoken by the indigenes. And ...

    3. we're interested in our cousins in other countries.
