8.30pm World View: Energy security
9.00pm Live at Nine with Mike Read

  1. Great, except, why are you wasting your time with a nobody like Mike Read?

  4. Every single policy that Cameron advances falls apart within a few days.
It is either a lack of intellect, judgement or balls.
    Or all three.
Whichever,I suspect Brown will rip him apart.

  8. Yasmin Alibhai-Brown failing to read Nick Cohen's book was a truly stunning example of arrogance.

    Bravo.

  9. The John Nott interview was very enjoyable - but half on hour was too short!

Agree with 8:15pm Anon. Alibhai-Brown can huff and puff all she likes, and she may even make a few good points... but she never read his book. Arrogant? Perhaps, but failing to read the book - or at least some of it, which she seems not to have done either - was surely a basic error & disrespectful to Cohen.

  14. Daily Referendum said...

Mike Read is too honest to be Mayor of London.

What's Archer doing then? That would solve that problem.

  16. Makes a change for Mike Read to turn up. How many time was it announced before the great man could grace us with his presence?

Of course, I expected another no show and missed him. I suppose I could always did him up out of the archives. There again, perhaps he should be left to rest in peace...

  17. Congratulations Iain on hosting a good night's viewing. Mike Reid was entertaining, but no candidate for my mind. Your gossipy gaggle of journos and Lynn were a good mix of people that you would never find on mainstream media. In fact it was a bit like overhearing a dinner party conversation. Well done 18DS.
