February was a record month, but March has been a stormer with unique visitors up 17%. I had 212,725 unique visitors, 31,000 up on February. The equivalent figure for March 2006 was 37,237. Page impressions were also up 56,000 from February to a record 369,308.
Here are my top 45 linking sites (ie incoming hits) for March. All these sites referred at least 100 people here. I'm struck by the number of new entries. The arrows denote whether a site has moved up or down or stayed static since January...

What stats package do you use?
ReplyDelete(I ask because, for my own website, I get different figures from Webalizer, provided by my web host, and Google Adsense.)
Damn! I'm beaten by Tim Ireland again! Must try harder .
ReplyDeleteI'm at 800,000 page views - you're catching up :-)
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome.
ReplyDeleteYou must be close to overtaking Guido by now ?
ReplyDeleteIain, Quite funny really, as last month I had just dropped out of your list, then got that story, and sent you about 700 hits in a day! (IIRC).
ReplyDeleteSo from not being in the chart last month to 4th!
I must have sent at least 1,000 incoming hits.
I use extremetracking.com
ReplyDeleteGuido posts on his blog "Two surprises in fact - last month saw an unprecedented dip in traffic to this blog" now is your chance Iain !
ReplyDeleteMike, and the date today is???
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure how accurate Alexa is, but if you graph the various tory websites, Guido and Mr Dale are waaay out in front.

Shucks, still I have just posted over at Guidos' using this little bit of info. so I may yet save face.He however is still using comment moderation, running scared I feel.
Erm, surely you mean the stats for March not February ?
ReplyDeleteHi Iain
ReplyDeleteVery impressive. Just out of interest what is currently the entry level of UVs to interest your trading block. My stats will I think will be going 2k, 4k, 10k, 25k using mid month figures from the start of the year (currently at about 10k). When will this haul in your tailenders? Or is 10,000 already getting there?

27th...not bad.
ReplyDeleteIain I happened to notice you were interviewing two limitlessly insipid Lib Dem Bloggers , on 18DS that no-one reads and do not link to you much .
You seemed to agree with them that your comments section was a source of irritation judging from an exasperated facial expression do you find it annoying? Or did I mis-read that ?
