I doubt if you would think that whales were "noble" if you were a seal being torn to pieces by an Orca for fun rather than food, or a sperm whale having you nipples ripped off just because they find them to be a delicacy.

ReplyDeleteHitch seals are not endangered-in fact their numbers are increasing, and they are not doing our fisheries any good at all. And whales don't taste good: I'd rather eat seal (and that's saying something!)

If there is one thing I have a soft spot for it is whales, anyone who is working to protect them is a star in my book.
