Conservatives for Hazel Blears

If Hazel Blears is to win the Labour Party Deputy leadership she will need help from her growing band of chipmunk admirers. To help her achieve her goal I've started a CONSERVATIVES FOR HAZEL BLEARS group on Facebook which you can join HERE. You know you want to.

Hazel sadly has fewer friends on Facebook than I do - a mere 272. With your help we can show that she has so many more friends in the Conservative Party than she does in her own. Oh yes. We all want her to win, don't we? To register your support, click HERE*.

* You must have a Facebook profile to join the group.

  2. Can't wait for the Chipmunk to be rolled on out May 6th after the Holycaust in Scotland.

"It was a great victory", she will squeak.

With the foresight of David Blunkett, how can you not admire the girl.

  6. I just saw the first red squirrel of my life in France two days ago. though it looked a bit small even for Hazel. (OK the links tenuous here - but so are Hazels chances.)

  8. I find facebook a forum for a very pathetic bunch of individuals.

Everyone on it is obsessed with "how many friends they've got" and "oooh.. look. I've got more friends than you!!"

    It's childish and - frankly - a bit desperate.

I'd rather have 30 real friends that 200 facebook "friends" just to make me look good.

Surely to goodness they should be called Facebook 'acquaintances' as the relationship with the term 'friendship' is a very nebulous one indeed...

  11. Thankfully Iain, the choice of Labour leader and Deputy is not up to Conservative Party members. One has the suspicion many of them don't have our best interests at heart! ;)

  13. What happens if you can't be bothered to join facebook? Some of us are old fuddy-duddies, after all. I suppose I had just better buy a "Nuts for Hazel" T-shirt.
