Running a Labour Deputy Leadership Campaign: Lesson 94

Do not send personal letters to the office staff of Conservative MPs...

You'd have thought this might be self evident, but not content with sending personal letters and glossy brochures to House of Commons researchers and secretaries of Labour MPs, my little Chipmunk is now sending them to Tories as well. Two people in Keith Simpson's office have received them today together with this heartwarming message from Hazel...
"I know from experience how important you are. You are the unsung heros of our
movement and I want to thank you for the work you do... Now, give me your vote and make sure your bloody boss votes for me too..."

OK, OK, I made the last sentence up.

I never get personal about people on the whole but this woman is irritating beyond belief.

    Horrible

  2. Ken,

Tthank god for that, I found out earlier she is on QT this week and had to be told to 'calm down' by the bird after 10 minutes of "that C++t, what a liar, do you know what she said once about......" oh and some pointing at the screen was going on "thats her...wot a liar"

  3. Hazel does bug me, but its Patrician Hewitt's condescending whine that drives me to punch the wall and rip my fingernails out.

    She drives me insane.

  4. Your little chipmunk has been nibbling some magic mushrooms and they've gone straight to her silly vacant little head. Not content with fancying herself as deputy, she thinks there's a consensus across the entire Labour Party in support of the Bogeyman - how deluded can she get...

  5. Perhaps someone should produce a range of "My Little Chipmunk" toys. It could be the toy of the year..

  6. More to the point is who is paying for all these plus the postage. What with Hain using his Special Advisor etc until rumbled by Guido methinks someone should start investigating all the candidates!

Vote for Millibrand just to annoy Gordon!

Considering what a lame attempt at opposition the Tories have made in the last decade, she's got good reason to send 'thank you' notes. You'd almost think that they were being so pathetically useless at holding the Government to account in an attempt to be supportive to Hazel, Tony, et al.

  8. Hazey Ginger Nut is getting some heat on all this from the K Cross Clan (Kerron) and his fan club. She's just kinda astoturfing old school and realises that having 5% going astray is better than being 10% under on the intended targets.

The question is where she is getting her list or building it herself. Most think the public domain lists plus a bit of brain storming could build up the 1000 names for MP's London staff.

But the KCC are still worrying about it. Which Co-op MP does he work for btw. Someone with long toes who has been trodden on by HB's size 2s.

  10. GingerBlears is...words fail me, they really do. No they don't.

Rancid monster. A pinched harridan spewing a never ending fetid stream of disingenuous sanctimonious political clap-trap.

Apart from that I find her quite rivetting...as in her head to an RSJ.
