It emerged today that he was persuaded to make the change by a hairdresser he
had never visited before in North Kensington, near his London home. The Tory
leader, who usually goes to a House of Commons hairdresser, had it done this
week by the Hair Salon in St Helens Gardens after taking his children there. The
hairdresser told him that he had his parting on "the wrong side" and Mr Cameron
was persuaded to move it to the left. He is said to be very pleased with the new
look, which cost him £10. "I think he likes it, so he's likely to stick with
it," his spokesman said today.
Glad to have cleared that up, then.
Is this going to be a haircut blog now?
ReplyDeleteAlso, very annoying the "must register with Google" thing. No more checking out other people's blogs, unless they're on Blogger. I've got two on Blogger, two on Wordpress.com, and two on Wordpress independently hosted. And really, I only want to pimp raincoaster.com, not all the rest.

Proof that Cameron is a closet communist!

ReplyDeleteForty odd years to work out that he was parting his hair on the wrong side - so how long will it take him to work out some policies?
ReplyDeleteIain are you going to continue to part your hair , like the Red Sea , from a Tonsurial deforestation which occupies an ever increasing trench of head.
ReplyDeleteIt looks most becoming , if you enjoy the pinkly delicate hairlessness of a new born mammal.
Or are you going to seek cosmetic assistance ?
I think the growing tribe of Dales bald spot watchers should be kept informed of the exciting developments to come .
Training a squirrel to sit on your head is a radical but effective therapy ...Just trying to help ..
£10! In North Ken! Are we sure it was an actual hairdresser?
ReplyDeleteThere is, strangely, an element of truth in this:

Now where did I leave my syrup.....
That's our Dave - happy to go left to pick up an extra vote

ReplyDeleteBearing in mind Tony Blair uses his wife's extremely expensive hairdresser (remember the £7000 for 3 weeks' worth?) and still looks like the Portrait of Dorian Grey I think DC's £10 was pretty good value!
ReplyDeleteDave is almost as bald as... oh crikey, what were their names?
ReplyDeleteAs Druid said, it's the Hair Part Theory. Part it on the right and you look feminine, on the left and you look masculine. If you look more masculine, you're more likely to rise to the top in a male-dominated environment. Simple really. If you don't think it's true, just have a look at politicians, businessmen etc on the news.
ReplyDeleteDon't be fooled by Cameron's faux naivete.
