Best not to send THIS sort of text message if you're a political candidate. People might get the wrong idea. Hat-tip Kiwiblog.

I have no idea: it is not english. Neither is Labor. What does that word mean? Are these people lucky enough to have Bush as Head of State?

  3. More importantly, know who your real friends are .....

  4. A recent text exchange between me and an Ozzie mate went along the lines that the Ozzies could be excused losing in the cricket to the Kiwis. He said the Kiwis' team coach had the guys on a strict regime, restricted to 3 sheep per month. Between them.

I'm surprised at the guy being de-selected. It's the sort of blokish humour that goes down well there.

  5. Bush is Head of State of America. I believe that the Queen is Head of State of Australia.

In any event, has the Aussie sense of humour gone walkabout?

  6. If we can excuse a party leader being a cokehead, we can definitely excuse some banter between friends. The guy obviously has a sense of humour and as such, would be a welcome addition to any legislature. He should be re-'endorsed' immediately.

  7. Being Liberals they were probably more concerned with the rights of the goats.

The world has gone mad if this kind of PC crap has infiltrated one of the last bastions of common sense.

  8. daily referendum - your comment betrays your ignorance, The Liberals are John Howard's Party.

  9. Actually daily referendum, the 'Liberals' in Australia are the equivalent of the Conservatives here.

  10. Jesus wept. The humourless bastards revoked his candidacy for that?

  11. I think he was sacked because the joke wasn't funny. That's how we do business here in Ausland.

  12. Out of the three sheep were any wearing a veil of any description? Cant use them mate. One wasnt a poofter sheep was it .......and the last one was the black sheep right?

Well i am not surprised mate, in this day and age of equality where were the asian sheep, disabled sheep, jewish sheep, nee battered wife now lesbian and proud sheep, and the biggest sin of all, I have to be careful here.... was there a sheep with a fleece different from teh others? I am not sure what you call them dot painters down your part of the world but similar to that?

He should never have been endorsed in teh first place if he cant even run an equal opportunites compliant sheep shagging session without thinking it through first.

We will send down an expert to get the guy back on track. He will be in tune with your thinking although, you'll like him. I am sure. If turns up wearing a cowboy outfit stetson and a blind bloke.... shootthe dog. nasty some things mate.

Oh and if gets pissed puts on a pith helmet and starts heading in teh direction of canberra shoot him a swell. Hea fat northern wan*er.

  14. Australians do give a XXX about their export trade of Halal meat. The requirements are probably not as strict as the German Purity Law but probably not that lax (just guessing) either.

  15. Just took a look at your video on America, I'm a fan of the states myself but your video was a bit of a ridiculous characature and really preaching to the converted (perfect for Fox).

I think you may have reached the limit of your talents Iain.

  16. Anonymous@9:53,

The Australian Liberals are the 'nearest' equivalent to our conservatives. The liberal party practice liberal conservatism and have drifted between the two. The current leader John Howard is a social conservative but the next leader of the party could be a liberal. The party has many liberals that would not like to be labelled conservative.

  17. Thought that in Australia the COUNTRY PARTY had the monopoly on the goat-lover vote. Of course they are closely attached (CP that is) to the Oz Liberals, who are (as has been pointed out) "liberal" in the same sense that Dick Cheney is a liberal - that is, liberal with other people's blood & liberty, as well as with the TRUTH.

Fact is, Antipodean goats have a FAR better chance of remaining undefiled than John Howard & Co have of staying in power after the next Oz election. Certainly Howard (along with Blair) has let W & Darth Vader reduce his political "legacy" to considerably less value than ripe goat droppings.

  18. Surely the Australains have an issue with him wishing to shag a goat( perverse)as opposed to a sheep (perfectly normal and to be positively encouraged). Great country ruined by it's populace!! Tossers

  20. What a bunch of humourless tosspots, I hope the NSW electorate make their feelings clear on this (I'm assuming they actually have a sense of humour unlike their political leaders).

  21. Baaaaah humbug!

    ReplyDelete
  22. I'm trying to work out why it was deemed 'inappropriate' - is it because so much of the NSW economy is based on sheep?

  23. Australia where men are men & sheep are nervous.

There that should get me kicked out of the LibDems.
