  3. Dont you ever get the feeling that you are being used by the BBC ,like an advert ,remember they are Brownites ? ,or is it a bit of Thatcherism, they are paying you.

  4. Ask him whether he's going to enjoy regional broadcasting when the Tories win the next election.

  5. Please do tell Marr what people think of him fawning over Labour.

  6. Make sure you plug your URL address - perhaps wear a T Shirt with it on.

  7. You can't have a discussion with that nagging shrew Yasmin Alibi Brown. You can only shut your ears and endure her.

  8. Recommended for a bit of commonsense about UK politics see 'Straight Talk with Andrew Neil' on BBC News 24 at 10.30 tonight (or Sunday same time).

  9. very funny attempt at a hatchet job on Guido. Didn't relly work, did it? Always a mistake to shroud wave with back pages - I prefer to trust a bloke who did rave parties than a woman who put a statue of Lenin up in Islington town hall, or a bloke who has earnest converasations with God and then goes out to bomb Iraq

  12. Just listened to the radio 4 piece. The bit about raves and "unsuspecting fields" made me laugh out loud.

  14. Oh please hit Yasmin. She's a typical chip-on-the-shoulder moaner who's convinced that anybody white has it in for Muslims. So you suffered from racism in the 1970s? It's the 21st century now, GET OVER IT.

  15. ..Say hello to Yasmin. I think she's great...she was very good value on "Any Questions" this week..along with Rod Liddle!..i heard him introduced on "FiveLive" as "intellectual thinker..." Fantastic!...Two "National Treasures"..like Andrew Marrs' ears.

  16. Charlie Wolf from Republicans Abroad. Probably the most right wing panel the BBC have ever had on!

  17. That profile of Guido is going to need some revision.

  18. WTF was the old slapper wearing on her feet? (Not you Iain!)

  19. I think it's save to say you won that arguement Iain. She came across as very defensive and negative and over the top in that her position of 'professional commentator' is being overtaken by the people.

  20. Yasmin was completely overcome by the need to rant. Odd as that was what she accsued the Bloggers off.

    Thanks Yasmin.

Iain, nice to see you score an open goald. We need a few more Tories mastering this skill.

  21. Andy she always comes across as bitter and nasty. She really hates bloggers doesn't she?

  22. What a silly woman you were up against on AM. She did make a good point about having to go to the blogsphere to defend her integrity 'cause nobody would believe it in a newspaper - but a point for the other side.

  23. I found it astonishing to watch this idiot complain about bloggers.

Unless she doesn't understand, this is the only medium which allows the average man on the street to put express his views to an audience.

Whilst she may be right that the discussion can tend to be similar to that you might find in a pub, it seems her problem is giving the "little people" a voice.

Message for you, arrogant woman - You don't "give" us that right, we already have it.

Columnists are no different from you or I other than they get a platform and are paid to express opinion.

Hope she reads this.. I'll choose my words carefully -

Get stuffed, you are the past!
