Labour Bloggers Cry Foul over Miliband Links

Diddums.

  1. As Guido points out, the popular (i.e. right-wing) blogs pay for the Blinkerblog so it's quite right that he should link to them!

You are in danger of starting another blog war though Iain!!

  2. To answer the cry of anguish from those deluded numpties calling themselves labour humanists - Millie ignores 'progressive' blogs for the same reasons that the rest of us do - they're boring, irrelevent crap obsessed with telling everybody how to live their lives.

    Simple, really.

  3. Iain you know that they have to link to you as it's the only way Labourites know what's happening in the Labour Party

  4. The comment calling the Labour Humanist a cretin has been deleted at place. More imaginative insults required.

  5. off topic but more proof of madness:

Blair under fire over police access to ID card database

  6. I notice they don't refute this: "Guido Fawkes is a tory tosser who has called Miliband a "humourless control freak"

  7. The link to the Open Letter is depressingly unpleasant. It's nearly enough to make a man resign from UKIP to stand shoulder to shoulder with our diarist.

    Yuck.

  8. This is just what you expect from labour, narrow minded, petty and spiteful. They must now realise they are on their way out (at long last )and they will get even more nasty. God only knows how long it will take to repair the damage they have done.

  9. Genius,
2 or 3 people comment on his thread and he chucks his toys out the pram closing down all comments. You couldn't make it up.

  10. I went to the link, then to the "open letter" and proceeded to read it, and then thought about sticking pins in my eyes to relieve the boredom. I never got to the end of the "open letter"..does anyone know if it ends or is it infinite?

It was all so depressing..still, they are humanists and as they say, this is all they have to look forward to. Just as well really, who would want an eternity with that lot. Total sense of humour failure.

  11. They obviousy do not get that a taxpayer funded blog like Miliband's is not Labour Party property.

    Such lamentable ignorance.

You must be quite proud of yourself today Iain.

"Over the last few weeks a huge amount of damage has been done to the British blogosphere..."

  13. Good evening! Where have you been all day? I was almost going into cold turkey waitng for my fix.

How much is Miliband paying you for this advert?

BTW, I don't suppose that you have seen Iain's Daily Diary over at my place? Remind you of anyone?

  14. Update: The comment entry to the link you provide is already closed. I was going to say; given the recent poll result he has seen which way the wind is blowing...

  15. They have closed the comments on their post. Hilarious!

Perhaps they didn't like people telling them the truth about most Labour blogs, or pointing out to them that taxpayers, and not the Labour party, pay for Miliband's blog.

    As you say, diddums.

  16. No doubt this is Miliband's attempt to put 'clear [blue?] water between himself and the Brownites..

I have to say, I don't think he realises who he's messing with...

The 'bird flu' thing was just the starter if Brown's Bovver Boys get the vibe that he's awkward and going to be a threat...

    ReplyDelete
  17. Iain you gave to laugh! These Labour bloggers just don't like it up em!

  18. Labour Humourless, sorry Humanist has closed comments after a duffing up by PragueTory and some others of a non-humourless disposition. Another leftie that can't take criticism.

  19. I am coming to the conclusion that there is not one labour/left wing blogger who is even slightly amusing - other than Tim Ireland obviously, who I am coming to know and love.. not like that obviously .... dont know though ...wouldn't climb over him for the cracker box, hes quite cute in a plumpish sort of way.

  20. Mr Miliband AKA Unibrow Frog Boy needs as much publicity as possible. He has even less charisma than Brown The Frown (zero).

  21. Ha-ha deft move by Miliblunder! He adds a few links and you lot go loopy over it, guaranteeing it being a talking point and upping hi traffic, genius!

  22. If there is a blogwar going on, where are the craters?

  23. Also in the news today: NHS still in debt; Home Office not deporting very many foreign criminals; ID cards to further impinge on our civil liberties.

But in blogworld, waving handbags about is far more important.

Yes that's right, political blogging really is the revolution that's going to do away with the traditional media as we know it. Bloody hell.

  24. This stinks like the dead fish DEFRA deal with...

Forgive me if this point's been made before, but if this is Milli's personal blog, will it follow him to his next job - and if so, surely his SpAds are running it, not civil servants. If it's a DEFRA blog, then CSs can run it legit. Misuse of tax-payers money, methinks if the latter happens.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Ah, done some research. This is tax-payer funded, so the blog stinks like dead DEFRA fish. Anyone fancy putting in an FOI request to find out how much it's really costing us? I can't think of any of the 23-odd exemptions that would stop this info being released...

Have to agree with you ,it's a good way to distract people ,offer one of it's messenger's and you just carry on.

  27. Iain, a plea: do stop putting up links to all these Godawful Labour blogs. I feel duty bound to follow them and then immediately lose the will to live.

Labour Humanist eh? I don't suppose there's one anywhere called Labour Humourist. It's astonishing how a few mildly sardonic comments from Praguetory cause them to shut up shop! Aw.

  28. lobster blogster: Yes there is a blog war going on. According to Croydonian the British political blogosphere is a convivial place. On my blog I have said it is a jungle, and have exposed Tory sleaze and a conspiracy...

    ReplyDelete
  29. Mr. Humanist must be mathematics deficient, he counts only four Tory bloggers on the Miliblog (obviously didn't look at the link to my site)

  31. Here's how to make delicious chocolate covered strawberries. First of all ensure that the strawberries you are intending to

use are dry, then allow them to be room temperature warm prior to making them. After the strawberries have been covered in

chocolate, put them in your refrigerator to cool, but do not store them in the fridge. Consume within 1-2 days.
