Cameron has obviously had a 'bad analogy day':
"The Government has now become like the ship stranded off the Devon coast - it's washed up, it's broken up and they are just scrabbling over the wreckage.
The people scrambling over the wreckage are trying to hold things together. Why did Cameron omit reference to the filthy oily leals spewing out at regular intervals?
More important, if Labour are scrabbling over the containers on the deck of the stranded ship, presumably the Tories are the lot on the beach picking up the contents of the Labour ship's manifesto and now claiming it (illegally says Mr Heffer!) as now being their own?
Here's one you missed from North of the Border:
"We fully understand why the Government does not at this stage wish to rush forward with amending legislation but the fact remains that the Scottish parliamentary election in May 2007 will take place in a manner which is not Convention compliant".

I surprised we haven't seen Cherie on the beach with her fellow scavengers from "somewhere up North."
I can't believe Blair copped out of the Iraq debate. Couldn't face his own backbenchers, I guess. Shows complete comtempt for Parliament.
Michael Gove is fab.
