I'll be on Radio 5 Live's Julian Worricker programme on Sunday morning from 10-1 looking at the Sunday papers and commenting on this and that should you have nothing better to do with your Sunday morning. We're going to be talking a lot about the US midterms and cricket, as well as trying to explain why 1970s rock groups re-form.
Perhaps when your on five live Iain you might explain why you made a total arse of yourelf by saying 'I dont think the Democrats are going to take the Senate'
ReplyDeleteYou mean like most other pundits? I suppose you predict everything correctly, do you? Smart arse.
ReplyDeleteTempting to say that it is because they need the money, but I was reading today about Yusuf Islam's new album. I was never a big Cat Stevens' fan, but if you have that musical talent, then you are likely to still have it 30 years down the line. And whilst tastes change, fashions are cyclical.
ReplyDeleteYou might also mention bands who adapted classical compositions [like Procol Harem's Whiter Shade of Pale] can claim the songwriting royalties on them, unlike poor old
Beethoven, or whoever. And if you are slightly younger than Mozart and your name is Cliff Richard, then you have to worry about new compositions, or your old stuff will go 'off copyright'. Unless you have friends in high places..
more shamless media whore-ing mr dale?
ReplyDelete5 Live; will they talk about they football....?
ReplyDeleteIan, glad to hear you're on the programme. It makes a change from the usual procession of NL supporters I am forced to listen to.
ReplyDeleteGive the Beeb a good kicking.
I thought you came across well. Just the sort of presentation to further the Conservative cause
