Lord Levy has been arrested. Jesus. Guido will be sinking a few bottles tonight in his French chateau...

Just got it on the Sky news flash, wow, wonder who is next.
Iain you have to give the SNP their due on this one they have not given up pushing this at every opportunity.
This could go all the way if you know what I mean, don't you think?
Cranmer prays that justice will be both done and seen to be done.
He also prays fervently with all the righteousness of his heart that the buck will be passed up...and up...and up, and that, O Lord, it may stop at Number 10. Amen.
Wait to see if Lord Levy is actually charged with anything before you open the champagne.
However, given how bureaucratic, politically correct and backside covering, the Police have become under NuLabour, and since the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005 section 110, made every offence into an arrestable one, as of 1st January, it is no surprise that an arrest has been made.
It is good to see that a NuLabour insider will be fingerprinted, photographed, DNA sampled and have all this data retained until his 100th birthday, even if he is never charged with anything, or even if he is found not guilty.
What stunned me last night was David Blunkett accusing the police of grandstanding!
Pot, Kettle, Deep Black.
Why does he even speak no one believes a word he says he has no credibility and he is the Home Secretary who signed the extradtion treaty that sees the Nat 3 on their way to Houston

He won't be the only one. For once the Met seem to be doing their job properly. Can the Dear Leader be far behind?
At last.

Coincidence that DAC Yates is meeting the public administration select committee tomorrow?
Great News :)
Just sent a msg to Guido - sure you have done the same....
To paraphrase a famous Rugby commentator he'll be dancing in the streets of Perpignon tonight.....
And I have no idea where he is, but Perpignon just scanned nicely :-D
Oh. Good.

Marvellous!
I'll open some of my best champagne; anyone care to join me in a celebratory glass?
Finally! Someone is standing up to this sleazy government :)
Here's hoping Blair is next :) :)
Good on the Met.
New slogan for the Met: tough on sleaze, tough on the Government of sleaze.
Perhaps we should take a look at his background, before we pass judegement? He may have come from a broken home.
What more could one ask for? It is a beautiful summer's day and Labour's bagman's in the jailhouse now.
(OK, a North London police station, but I don't know any songs about that. )
Tsk, tsk, children. Innocent until proven otherwise - the poor chap isn't a muslim terror suspect, you know.
You never know - that North London Police Station might well be Paddingdon Green, so perhaps he might meet a few.

No, but given our our government's careful reform of the extradition laws one has to wonder if he's ever fund-raised in the States...
PCF - maybe tomorrow. I've had a very good 24 hours and this is just the icing on the cake.
Meanwhile, I imagine His Grace regards this as God's work....
I thought our beloved leader looked a bit yellow at PMs questions today. Now we know why!
CONGRATULATIONS to the Scottish National Party. They were the ones who dug their heels in and kept asking questions.
Well done the SNP!
Is this a case of when the Levy breaks?
