Disgraceful display by Gorbels at PMQs who refused to let Andrew Robathan ask Blair a question about this matter, sign of the times when the Speaker abuses his powers to prevent democratic accountability.
Your new story on Robinson's attack on the blogs makes me wonder something else to. He seemed interested in the Speaker's decision to ban Robathan's question during The Daily Politics, but no doubt this was just for show and he probably won't investigate this further as a potential abuse of power to cover for Prescott's misdemeanours. It won't even get another mention on the beeb's PMQs round-up.
If I remember rightly, there is a particularly nasty scene in 'Casino' where someone gets their head crushed by a vice. Maybe it's not so bad for members of the Cabinet to get involved in this project after all... ;)
This one is a bit of a gamble Iain!
