News 24 Paper Review
I'll be reviewing tomorrow's newspapers on BBC News 24 tonight at 10.45pm and 00.15am should you still be up!
Be careful if the subject of babies' names should come up. Wouldn't want to look foolish on the telly as well as your blog now would you?!
PS I shall, I hope, be fast asleep and dreaming peacefully (of another decade or so of new Labour rule or somesuch) when you're on and I can't recall how to get News 24 onto my VCR......
Will you be paying particular attention to stories on how Gordon's new baby is called Gordon, err, James, and the Tories mumbled apologies over Railtrack, which you seem to have missed?
Surprise surprise! The Independent is banging on about global warming again. Why don't they just affiliate themselves to the Green Party and have done with it?
Believe it or not Iain, I stayed up and watched it. I like the remark about the Lib Dems potentially having to pay the Michael Brown loan back. Good appearence.
Caught the last few minutes so l am not in a position to make comments! Tell me did you review what was in the papers or did you manage to keep John Prescott on the front page....:-)

A choice between watching Iain Dale review papers... or going to sleep...
ReplyDeleteOooh, a tough choice!
Will you be reviewing what is in the papers, or will it be a review of what is not there?

ReplyDeleteFrom a conservative point of view?:-)
ReplyDeleteI'll be watching! Thanks for the reminder.
ReplyDeleteIain, the sicky green banner is really unpleasant - is there a hidden message?

ReplyDeleteExcellent review---very thorough.
ReplyDeleteI was glad to see that you had thrown away the specs. :-)
Hughes, maybe I should watch News 24 all the time rather than Sky - I just reported what they were reporting! Betcha stayed up really...
ReplyDeleteChris, so cutting...
expat, not sure what you mean by that...
Ian, on the railways, some of us were saying it at the time...-
queasy - the message is Vote Blue Go Green!
Mise - I haven;t thrown them away, I just forgot to put them on! Maybe they will reappear at 12.15...

ReplyDeleteIain
ReplyDeleteYou look about 15 years younger in the picture at the top of this site than the News24 makeup team made you look ;)
