Many of us remember how Gordon Brown went to ground during the last bout of sleaze eruptions in March and April. He was nowhere to be seen. I must admit wondering at PMQs today where he was today. Now we know. He never likes to be around when the brown stuff hits the fan. Anyone know where he was today?
Who cares where he is today. It's where he is tomorrow that worries me!
ReplyDeleteDid Bliar leave for the airport as soon as question time was over? Is he coming back or will Inspector Knacker have to look at extradition laws!
ReplyDeleteI wonder who has put up bail for his lordship? Perhaps Gordy was busy around at the post office getting the cash...
ReplyDeleteSomewhere in the Palace of Westminster, being mine host at a decorous No.10-warming teaparty for all those NuLab apparatchiks who must be frantically distancing themselves from Blair even as we post.....
ReplyDeleteIn fairness, he may have been closer to home as the baby is due any day now ...
ReplyDeleteBrown will be a casualty of this funding too. He knows it. The man who has run the finances of the country - but feigns no knowledge of how much Labour has in the bank to the nearest £10 million?
ReplyDeleteGames up for him and his party. He might get to be PM for a few months of disintegration and remembered as the guy who ended Labour's - or rather Tony's - winning streak. How much would that hurt for ever and a day?
He was probably sat in a corner, punching the wall, softly muttering to himself "Bugger. Bugger... Bugger....."
How dee Folks
ReplyDeleteGuess the posse missed the two outlaws today
Pretty boy Prezzie and Baby Face Brown
No problems folks,
I just know that they have had too much of them cowboy beans,
We might not see them,
but
We can hear them
and the stink of where they have been sure means we will track them down
No problem, we will pick them up when they come for the Lynching Party
Tony will be waiting for them, waiting for them,
down by the Levy!
