I'll Never Be Able to Look at a Cocktail Sausage Again
Just off to do two hours telling at a Polling Station, but until I get back, amuse yourself by looking at The SunHERE. When I return I'll tell you how it came about. I don't think I'll ever eat a cocktail sausage again in my life...
What are the rules about media coverage of political issues during polling in local elections? ie. how do they differ from a general election where no-one is allowed to say anything much?
Is it up to the BBC etc. to exercise a judgement call when running the story about the man who was arrested in Hull (where else?) believed to have committed a stabbing after being recommended for deportation?
I see BBC1's coverage goes right the way through to 6am, which must be a first, although no mention of Paxman being involved this time.
What is the turnout like?
ReplyDeleteCan I ask an election related question...

The photo is very apt - I can imagine it being something that Pauline at the very least considered when news of the affair broke.
ReplyDeleteNow we know the real reason why he has 2 Jags!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I see you have become a tabloid celebrity.

I´m very happy for people to throw light on this issue.
Actually even The Sun are being a little generous to him, as the photo of the cocktail sausage is not to scale.
ReplyDeleteDid you post this earlier - I guess I missed it. I wouldn't like to have you quoting the Sun as a source quoting you as a source quoting ....
ReplyDeleteOk I know I did miss it.
ReplyDeleteIt's not his fault.
