My partner, who is a Jeremy Vine addict, tells me that Vine reverted to his mini-Paxman mode when he interviewed George Osborne this lunchtime, whereas Gordon Brown was given the "and what would you like to tell us today, your Prudence-ness" treatment. Good old BBC. Nice to know nothing changes.
Fair point, but why does Osbourne keep banging on about the fact that the Chancellor isn't very nice to him? Surely he realises he's making himself look extremely juvenile? As one fellow blogger put it: "Next - Osbourne tells Brown he smells of wee."
ReplyDeleteDecoded that means Osborne cocked-up big style.
ReplyDeleterubbish I am a tory and he gave them all a bit of a hard time really
ReplyDeleteJeremy Vile is a huge blot on the Radio 2 landscape. 'Public' broadcasting is no place for his bias!
ReplyDeleteYou've got to laugh. Vine was once interviewed in gushing terms by Tim Montgomerie for the CCF. It seems only complete subservience will do for the Tories.
ReplyDeleteI used to like Vine but nowadays find it impossible to enjoy his show. His leftist agonising has become too much to bear.
