New Poll on Switching from Miles to Kilometres
So let's hear what you think about Neil Kinnock's suggestion of switching over the Kilometres...
Although it'll be counter intuitive for a while, I don't have any great problem with the switch. As long as Neil foots the bill for all the costs involved, it should be... Neil? Neil?
A brilliant idea. As long as it's only implemented in the Welsh Windbag's own country and not in England. Their roadsigns are unintelligible half the time anyway so let them go for it.
Perhaps we can cut the Welsh subsidy as well - we should pay it 10 months of the year instead of 12 and save ourselves a few million.
Your poll told me I had already voted so could not vote again. I have not voted before, so I can only imagine that the way this poll stores IPs is, ahem, prone to error. So I'm afraid the purported result must be open to some considerable question, even given the fact that the voting population is unlikely to be entirely representative so the underlying result would in any case be largely meaningless.
For the record, I would have voted "Don't care" had I been permitted to do so.
strangely rouge, I wouldn't be so sure. It's 72-28 at the moment, which is less emphatic than I would have predicted. In any case, we get huge numbers of hits from other party supporters. Like you!
As it was the Romans who brought imperial measruements here in the first place, I think the Europeans should do the decent thing and start a programme of Imperialisation. That would be a vote winner for the Tories!
I agree that Neil Kinnock's vast pay check should be changed from Pounds Sterling to Ghanian Cedis.
ReplyDeleteDoes that count?

Can we please have a poll on whether things were better in the good old days or since these new fangled changes?
ReplyDeleteWouldn't it make the country a lot smaller to replace miles with kilometers?
ReplyDeleteIt's just a Europhile plot to weaken Britain.
as long as you realise just how unrepresentative your poll will be, considering the audience of a rightwing blog
