Lobbying Companies and All Party Groups
Liam Halligan, who's day job is Channel 4 News Economics Correspondent, has a very good article in the business section of today's Sunday Telegraph. It is headlined "Its good that MPs shop around for assistance" and examines the links between lobbying companies and All Party Groups, using the All-Party Parliamentary Small Shops Group as an example. He comes to the conclusion that the links are by and large, which contrasts to the rather hysterical tone in recent articles in The Times on the subject. Click HERE to read the article.

A very refreshing article, compared to the recent hysteria in The Times and on the BBC. Thanks for pointing it out.
Lobbying is an essential part of the democratic process and it is unfortunate that the usual few bad apples that exist in any field, or any political group end up tainting the vast majority who are doing their jobs well.
