Thirteen Senses
Having worn out by Keane CD I have now discovered a new band who have made one of the best albums I have heard in months. Thirteen Senses's first album is calledVERTIGO. Apparently they're from Cornwall. You can see more details HERE.
Could I just say that: "Keane is music for people who don't really like music - it's like Coldplay and Travis"?
I don't really believe that, but it's a thing you have to say if you're under 40 and have any pretensions to credibility left at all.
Older readers may like to try the line on any children, grandchildren, nephews or neices they may have. If they agree, you will have gained respect but lost a little dignity. If they disagree then they are basically beyond redemption in credibility terms. If they say "that's just an opinion for people who don't really have opinions" or some such, then disinherit them - they are too clever by half.
Ian - People in North Norfolk are mostly fans of Raymond Froggett. His song "Festival of Fools" is regarded as a classic. Now if you adopted that as your theme for the election you might just ........ and it would keep you from getting uptight .... didn't you throw a whooppy at a private meeting recently. One of my spies said you did [around the time that you were "freezing" on Sky TV???? I expect it'sjust nerves! Robb

James, possibly your most interesting post on here for months!
And that's possibly your best backhanded compliment for months! We are clearly both on form.
