Will Gordon Scare the Voters?

I have no hesitation in asking you to watch this Labour Party Political Broadcast, which is going out this evening. Gordon Brown makes three appearances in it and you can almost physically feel the number of people who will be saying: "Hasn't he got a weird smile, and what is it that he does with his jaw?" If I were them I'd keep Gordon Brown hidden well away until Polling Day. The barrage of statistics just do not accord with people's experience of everyday life in this country. Funny how there was no mention of the £5 million people who will be paying more tax from today!

Graphically, it was quite good, but as a way of sending a message to voters I reckon it will put far more voters off voting Labour than it attracts. What do you think?
